After come across Linda's blog and Lookbook, I was very attracted to her unique and one of a kind style. Besides that, it kinda reflects and tell me that she got that lively, out-going and enthusiastic personality in her.
It was then I decided to feature the 19 year old fashion design student from Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore) on Biatch Bible and so, I did more research about her. To my surprise, not only a fashionista from Temasek Polytechnic, she is also a DJ, a blogshop owner, a store assistant, a fan of photography, and not to forget, a party-goer!
Anyway, bash no more, check out our Q+A email interview with the out-going and happening girl, Linda How from Singapore.

BB: Introduce yourself in about 30 words or lesser, and tell us a bit about yourself that we do not know/read from your blogs.
LH: Despite my 'traditional classic' look -what everyone says, my character is the opposite! I would say i was born daring and brave! Why, because my grandma told me i sneaked out of the house(in Shanghai) to buy bubble gum when i was only 3 yrs old!! And since young, i don't really like cartoons and toys (except for HELLO KITTY), i love watching action/thrilling/horror/gore movies. I can be contradicting, up till now i still collect Hello Kitty gadgets!! I sleep with Hello Kitty blanket and pillows. (hahahahahahaha)

BB: So we heard you're originally from Shanghai, what makes you reside in Singapore?
LH: I have been staying in Singapore for more than 10 years, it was my parents idea for my to study here, together with my sister, as they used to own a bridal boutique in Singapore.

BB: So you design & sell clothes/accessories and a DJ? What other activities you're currently doing?
LH: Yes i do design for my own small label- LHLY. And i started out Dj-ing a few months ago and had a few gigs here and there. I also work part-time as a store assistant at Blackmarket (boutique). I also do freelance modelling for events and photoshoots. i am currently an exclusive model for LITTLE RED HEELS, an online blog shop, ilovelrh.com. HAHA! i think that's about it.

BB: Who or what's your inspiration? Any fashion icons?
LH: My inspiration is the nature and universe! Anything and anyone who catches my attention can be my inspiration. Hmmm fashion icon Vivienne Westwood! And I admire designers like Betsey Johnson, Jeremy Scott, Alexander Wang, Holland, Diane von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs...

BB: Fashion dos and don'ts?
LH: I like to wear things that are comfortable. I don't like to wear mini skirts and tight tight dresses!! I like it loose and comfortable. However i would say do what you like and not let anything restrict you and your dressing!

BB: Where's your favorite shopping destination?
LH: In Singapore, i think Orchard is the central of shopping destinations for everyone! Personally, I like to go to Zara, Club21 stores, Blackmarket at Jalan Pisang, Frontrow at Ann Siang Hill and Haji Lane shophouses.

BB: What makes you involve in DJ-ing?
LH: I started learning DJ around March this year with my bestfriend Grace, we're a duo call TWOFACE. The thought of learning to DJ was impulsive, it was when our friends and i were chilling at Homclub when we touched on the topic and Roy, the boss of Homeclub initiated to teach us! Yes lucky we are, we started learning the week after and so on...

BB: Mind to tell us why is your blog titled as "i cheated myself"?
LH: The phrase 'i cheated myself' was actually extracted from Amy Winehouse's song - You know i'm no good. On a personal count, i am someone who doesnt like to show my emotions, i always tend to pretend to be strong when i'm not. So that's how 'i cheated myself' ..

Above: Linda with Gareth Pugh.
BB: Last but not least, what comes into your mind for the word - "Biatch Bible"?
LH: It's like a dictionary for the bitches and gossip-ers, very dramatic in a way. The shortform BB is exceptionally catchy and i like it! I believe there is drama in all of us!
